Learn More

For 175 years, the ‪Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine have stood with Cleveland’s Central neighborhood, meeting people where they are and caring for the whole person. As challenges like poverty, violence and limited resources grow, that legacy continues in a new way. The Sisters of Charity Health System is leading the development of the St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub, located on the historic campus of the former St. Vincent Charity Hospital. The Hub brings together partners to support the community’s most critical needs. Built by listening to residents and powered by collaboration, the Hub is more than a place. It’s a movement to create a healthier, more hopeful future for the community. Click on the video to learn more about the goals and efforts of this initiative.

Health and Healing Hub Overview

The St. Vincent Charity Health & Healing Hub is a transformational neighborhood-based initiative located on the historic St. Vincent Charity Hospital campus in the heart of Cleveland’s Central neighborhood—a community that continues to face persistent challenges in economic stability, educational attainment and access to essential services.

The Health & Healing Hub is not a single program or building. It is a geographic campus and coordinated system of care, designed to respond to the complex realities of the Central Neighborhood by addressing the social determinants of health through a connected, whole-person approach.

Guided by the Sisters of Charity Health System, which serves as the backbone organization leading this neighborhood effort, the Healing Hub is built around deep partnerships with community-based organizations, anchor institutions and social service providers. Together, this network supports an aligned strategy to advance individual and community well-being.

Hub Campus

This model is not transactional. It is transformational. The Healing Hub seeks to move beyond isolated interventions to create a sustained, neighborhood-wide impact that promotes health equity and generational change.
